Graduate Womxn in Chemical Engineering at MIT

Graduate Womxn in ChemE (GWiChE) is a student-led organization to support graduate womxn in the chemical engineering department at MIT by creating a space where we can come together to socialize, host speakers, and work to promote positive change in the department. We use the term “womxn” to include anyone who identifies as a woman or any gender minority. This may include, but is not limited to, transgender women, cisgender women, and non-binary people.

What We Do

We strive to create a welcoming space for womxn in the chemical engineering department.

We host a number of different events within the department including faculty luncheons, and coffee hours.

We collaborate with other groups at MIT to host networking events and educational workshops to foster solidarity across campus.
